Jesus is in the boat......What do you fear?

Jesus disciples were in the boat.  Jesus was with them.  But He was resting.  There was a storm.  The disciples were afraid.  When they woke Him up He chided them and questioned their faith.....Then He calmed the wind and the sea. (Matthew 8:23 - 27) 

Even when we belong to Him there will be storms in life.  He is in the boat with us as the ship tosses about.  He is in the boat with us as fear grips our heart, mind, and soul.  He is there even as we call on His name.  

Even when we know we are His....our faith can waver.  But..... let us take heart and learn.....  I pray whatever storm grips you today that you will place FULL FAITH in Him.  For He is able.  He is Worthy.  He is capable of calming the storms of life as well as the storm in our soul.....  He is the giver of peace when we fully embrace the reality that He is capable, true, sure and strong.  He has our best interest in mind.  And He knows the answers to all of our questions even before we ask them!  

My prayer - Hold me in your arms, dear Jesus.  Defend me against the storms of life without and within.  Help my faith to be true and sure.  Even in adversity - I will praise you and call on your name.  I hold FAST TO YOU.  Because you are the only one I can truly count on.  You are my link to God Himself.  Forgive me for my failures.  Help others to forgive me.  And help me to forgive myself and move on into your ultimate plan for my GOOD.  You are worthy.  My HOPE is in YOU.
